Syllabus
More emphasis will be given to understanding, reasoning, correlation, application, and competency-based questions. Questions will be from Karnataka State Board science textbooks and CBSE science textbooks. The questions related to general knowledge in science and science around day-to-day life.
For 6th std. -
Textbooks of, 5th and 6th std. of Karnataka State Board and Content related to the above from ICSE, IB, and CBSE books
a) Approximately 20 % of questions on 5th std. syllabus.
b) Approximately 70 % of questions on 6th std. syllabus.
c) Approximately 10 % of questions on General knowledge in science.
For 9th std. -
Textbooks of VIII and IX std Karnataka State Board and Content related to the above from ICSE, IB, and CBSE books.
a) Approximately 20 % of questions on 8th std. syllabus,
b) Approximately 70 % of questions on 9th std. syllabus,

Written Test
100 multiple choice questions based on science & General Knowledge in science as per standard.
Maximum marks: 100
Time- 90 Min
Practicals
There will be 1 experiment of 20 marks based on the general science and viva of 10 marks and 10 questions.

Selection Procedure
Selection for Stage - Agni
Merit-wise Top 7% of students per region will be selected for the Practical Examination.
Selection for Stage - Shourya
Merit-wise Top 10.% students will be selected for Personal Interviews.
Final Selection
50% marks for stage Prithvi 20% marks for Stage Agni + 30% marks for Satge Shourya + Personal Interview marks will be considered for the selection of the Top 6 Students.
